Beautiful Chevelle SS and my favorite year at that!
The trim that you removed was on my 1:1 69 Malibu which is what I will replicate with mine. But was not on the SS cars.

I love it! Brings back many great Memories of going to US30, Oswego and Union Grove when I was a youngin'! Thanks for the trip back in time!

Sweet build! Seen many 1:1 that looked like that back in the day! Love those little cars, had one with a diesel that would get 50mpg on the road about 30 around town! But watch out if the timing belt broke!(on the diesel) Worked on they at a hole in the wall foreign car repair shop where VW's were our specialty.

Other than making a few adjustments to the grill to get it to fit all the way in and the taillight/bumper to get it to fit up against the trunk lid and the fiddly way the front bumper mounts, it was actually a pretty straight forward build with no real issues. I did replace the quarter glass with acetate for more realism and a better body fit.
