I agree John! I painted 2 1:1 cars that color in the early 90's! Panther Pink!

Looks GREAT! Except for the CD player and the big speakers the flake paint and wheels take me back to the street pounders of the mid to late 70's!

I don't think the pictures do it justice. We don't really see how the paints blend and change.

There were some really outlandish paint schemes back in that era! I know, I lived it! Yes, most "company" trucks were very mundane with mostly plain factory colors and sometimes what ever striping they might offer whether optinal or due to a upper level model, like the International "Eagle" class of truck or sometimes a commemorative issue like so many were in 1976!

I was kicked off MCM because I dared comment on the Magazine's new policy of not replacing damaged copies that subscribers received in the mail because they are using the lightest weight paper they can and refuse to bag the magazine to protect it. I commented to Gregg that it was the same as telling the customer to F off so he booted me for using inappropriate language when there were a dozen other posts that had the symbols replacing the word they had typed. Unfortunately for me I wasn't one of the "good ole boys" that can get away with it. There is a core group over there that seem to sit and wait for someone to say the wrong thing or God help them disagree with "them" and they attack like a pack or rabid dogs! That group includes one of the Top Moderators too! CUTTIN' CHEEZLE! is just nuts! But then so is Spot Light! I come here, to Randy Ayers and another private site and that's it. Once in a great while I'll go to the other two if a link takes me to something I'm researching.

Always was a tough build. I have 5. One the original IMC kit that I built and rebuilt and rebuilt. Then 4 others in the closet. The tanker, The Flat Bed with 40 Ford and two just the semi tractor. Looks like you have it nailed!

I only go on facebook because it seems to be the only way to contact some family members these days. I've tried looking at the so called model pages and find it hard to even get a feel for them so I just stick with the few sites I have been seeing on the internet.

You have the proportion right. Too bad it can't be cast in resin.
