Built this kit 41 years ago while in the VA Hospital. Was hand painted. But after years of being bounced around in many moves it became almost trash. About 10 years ago almost tossed it but decided to shorten it. Started the work and found my putty dried up and lost interest. Took it out and set it together to post on another site where someone had shortened one. Then it went back into the closet until I ran into it today. It is on the bench until done this time. For some reason I have been feeling compelled to finish old kits that have been left undone for years!

It is HARD to finish a really old kit you've quit on. It does look almost all there and except for body, it is about ready. I say give it a try. Your patience and the skill that comes from it will help. Best o' luck!

Go for it Johnny. There's a lot of satisfaction there from finishing a long dormant kit. Keep us posted!

Well, added some color this afternoon. Now I'll give the Testors rattle can paint a couple days to cure and then shoot some clear. In the mean time scrounge up some kind of headlights and other misc. items! Got some better chrome wheels to replace the old chipped ones with.
