Today I managed to get some throttle linkage, the coil and fuel lines installed.
Still need to add a throttle return spring.
I also added some home made decals provided by a fine gentleman on another forum to the air cleaner.

The engine is just about finished, so now I have to get these intake hoses refined.
The difficult part is that everything has to basically be perfect.
The hoses will be attached to the air cleaner only to allow for the removal of the air cleaner for viewing the carburetor.
I think I'm getting really close.

Well, I believe that the engine is all but finished.
I realized that I still need to touch up the edges of the air cleaner lid with some Molotow ink, and I need to find an acceptable alternative for the air cleaner element.
Other than that, I'm ready to move on to some other elements of the project.

Awesome detailing Steve, it's hard to believe it isn't 1-1 scale.

Finished the dash today.
Toughest part was bending and applying the wire that is the "perimeter" trim around the dash.

Thanks Bob!
Right now I'm working on chassis and suspension refinements as well as some interior details, but I found the time today to add some valve stems, wheel weights and the hubcaps to the wheels.

Those air intake hoses really turned out great , I'll definitely remember how you did them ! That air cleaner doesn't look half bad either . The engine and your dash detailing are first class work ! Wish my eyesight was still good enough to attempt such detailing .

I simply cannot get enough of this build. Hell I'm gonna have withdrawals after you complete it Steve. Masterful work going on in here.

Thanks so much guys!!
It is getting closer, but every time I think I'm gaining ground, I come up with another hair brained idea.
Lately, I've been contemplating attempting some working, or at least "semi" working hood hinges!
Call me crazy!

I understand that. Sometimes I feel like it's the build that dictates where I go when it should be the other way around. lol
