Hi Jim and Dave the brand of paint is Halfords - Halfords is a UK motorists store, and yes the Ford Fooler and the '58 Chevy are the same colour. It's Vauxhall Reed Green (Vauxhall was the UK's GM brand up until a couple of years ago when it was taken over by the PSA Group (Peugeot and Citroen). Nice colour, despite the politics. I'll post more pictures soon. Thanks for your comments.

Hey Spike, Thanks for telling us about the paint, obviously that brand isn't available here in the colonies, LOL. Even though I really like that colo"u"r, I think I still need a little lighter, more of a Mint Green for my project.
This is a cool project, wild carb set up. Still diggin the dual back tires.
The only suggestion I would make, would be to brush on some dull cote or semi gloss on to the seat, to separate it from the body color, and maybe flow black or a darker green between the seat and body. Of course if you already planned that, (I know you have a way to go) then I'll P... off, LOL

Hi Jim, thanks for your comments. I haven't touched the body since I sprayed it. The finish is OK-ish, but needs a polish, after that I will detail the seat and interior. I'm really enjoying this model - each idea I've had - supercharged straight eight, twin rear wheels, holes in the rear of the body and Cord like, Gremlin radiator shroud, seem to be working out OK. Just a bit bored of wiring eight plugs in a row. At lease I haven't got to paint dozens of flames on a Mercury shell... Respect.

The running gear on the '36 Ford is now complete. I replaced the flat-head with small-block of unknown origin. It went in easily but needed a bit of work on the exhaust to connect it up to the molded in single pipe. Interior next then body.

It's Vauxhall Reed Green (Vauxhall was the UK's GM brand up until a couple of years ago when it was taken over by the PSA Group (Peugeot and Citroen). For us "yanks", we also know them as Volvo. There is a really nice match-up color for Volvo called "Volvo Light Green". My East Coast '29 is this color on the body...
