maybe a light blue metallic, to try and match this closer. I would think the dark blue may make this stand out too much - or any light metallic color would probably work - otherwise, I think it looks pretty cool

Older build - not real proud of the paint job, but hey, it was a pretty cool kit to build. I have another, maybe I will get a few more for different paint schemes / decals, who knows.

Thanks Sharp! LOL - guess you are seeing double of this build huh? LOL Gotta touch up the stripes though, should have just painted the rear end white, like the box showed, but I of course wanted something just a touch different. I am no customizer such as yourself, maybe someday!

Well - after a road trip for a mini-vacation in Iowa - got home Monday, had an off day Tuesday, and got a little bit of bench time.
Added the Camaro emblem, (PE), hand painted the marker lights, (no worries, this will be touched up) and got the tail lights installed Gonna have to try and re-learn as I go this BMF thing - thinking to cut out arches of BMF for wheel well edging from now on, so much crinkling going on, I feel like the flavor for a Pringle!!! LOL

That is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
The only thing I ever scratch built was while putting a kit together, I leaned back and scratched my back on the corner of the chair!!!!
LOL
But for sure, this is really awesome!!

Figured, since I am drawing close to finishing up the 69 Camaro build - I would pull out my previously started '70 Coronet Pro Street Going pretty much box stock colors, paint is done, and pulling everything back out, I think I did pretty dam good job! LOL Got to work on the engine, saving the extra parts for the DOHC motor, and instead opted for the good old fashioned straight up Hemi Looks like I was going chrome on this initially - BUT - change of heart, going with the standard flat black elephant style valve covers. So painted them with some Model Master exhaust paint, drilled out for the plug wires, and now I think I will make ALL the chrome on this build either black, or black chrome BMF! Intake and carbs on, oil filter on, transmission on and yes, no worries, that chrome alternator will soon be black chrome! LOL
