Figured, since I am drawing close to finishing up the 69 Camaro build - I would pull out my previously started '70 Coronet Pro Street Going pretty much box stock colors, paint is done, and pulling everything back out, I think I did pretty dam good job! LOL Got to work on the engine, saving the extra parts for the DOHC motor, and instead opted for the good old fashioned straight up Hemi Looks like I was going chrome on this initially - BUT - change of heart, going with the standard flat black elephant style valve covers. So painted them with some Model Master exhaust paint, drilled out for the plug wires, and now I think I will make ALL the chrome on this build either black, or black chrome BMF! Intake and carbs on, oil filter on, transmission on and yes, no worries, that chrome alternator will soon be black chrome! LOL

Decided to get away from chrome on this build - going all black chrome! All Green and Black Coronet - WOOHOO!
And I do mean ALL Black Chrome -
As those things dried, I started on the engine area
Had to hand letter the tires twice, once in white, then again in green - sticking with the whole, all green and black theme Also have the front suspension, sway bar done.
Did a test fit on the engine, I do believe we glue this sucka down!!
Dash is detailed, as best I could by hand anyways
Engine and battery are in this morning - thinking to add some heater hoses before we close it up with the radiator.
Next up - need to start contemplating how crazy to get with the interior. Just thinking some small green details, black flocking for carpet and headliner, and possibly smoke, (tint), the rear window, put a sun shade, tint stripe across the top of the front windshield, and maybe smoke, tint the side windows - if I do the side windows at all. Hmmmmmmmmmm - decisions, decisions, decisions..........

Looking good and heater hoses would add a lot to it.

BMF just about finished, still have the rear window to finish.
I got the exhaust on , and was gonna install the rear end, shocks, etc - then of course, I had to do a little more painting detailing - so that should be soon
Interior is together, but forgive me, I am gonna skip the flocking for this build. Normally I flock the flock out of each build, LOL But I would like to get this sucka done, displayed, and moved off me bench! The interior I am not real happy with anyways, maybe I will tint the windows to help make it go away - Ha!

ell, I did manage to put on some heater hoses, and installed the roll cage. This picture really showed the color effects clear on the dash - didn't realize there was so many colors! LOL

Well, all I was able to get after was working in the rear end, drive shaft, shocks and rear suspension arms. Yep - I am a slow builder, but I still have fun!

Most excellent engine compartment. Interesting that the kit has the inner fenders, firewall, radiator as a separate unit. My only comment on the colors would be to use a semi-gloss or a little duller black on some parts, interior especially. It's just a personal choice, but when "semi-gloss" colors came out we realized how much more real they looked on interiors and undercarriage parts like shocks. Best of luck on the wrap-up!!
