I will share some pics of members at shows and elsewhere, hope you enjoy! Some members are no longer here with us, sure miss them. back left to right ) Larry Cleveland (RIP), Steve Kohler, Steve Hinson (RIP), Chris Lewis, Dwayne Bressem, James Rothrock front left to right ) Bob Black (me), Bud Ellis  WoW, Bob... That's really something, using Tatoos instead of Name Tags!! I see there were a couple of holdouts who just got the shirts! LoL! Seriously, I really like seeing the names on the pictures, especially some of the Mid-West, East Coasters, and Kalifornians. OH heck, just about anybody for those of us who don't get out to the shows. It's really nice to be able to put a face to some of the names you run into on the forums. |

hah yeah Skip, there was kind of a jokey vibe going on at that show.. Bud Ellis and I share some similar backgrounds in our youth and we were kinda acting and joking around about some stuff. I felt like we all should have a gangster photo, but them guys in the back weren't into it lol

haven't talked to these guys in a long time, Don and I had some seriously fun times over the yahoo groups days. We also were able to meet in person but I was not at this show.  |

Thanks, Bob, for bringing up this topic and providing photos. I never was a part of a model car building group. I regret not having memories like these. I recognize a few of the names from magazines and online. I've only met one in person: the late Steve Hinson at the 2019 GSL where he earned the Roth Award for a far-out entry. He was a really friendly guy and I enjoyed talking with him for a few minutes. I was hoping to see him at the 2023 GSL.
So, are you or any of these guys going to get together at the GSL this May? I'll be there. Maybe there would be some way to identify ourselves as DPMC and/or TRAKinM forum folks.

He was also on TRaK and we had a good time at NNL MID-WEST , we put our cars together and took photos of them. Being from California and me at the time from Nebraska, just had to do it...it was the last time I would see him unfortunately. I have never been to GSL but who knows, honestly probably not this year I have a lot going on that takes money and planning to achieve. I am trying to find the photos.... |

I am sure I still have my shirts and shirts from other shows, my MCM shirt from when Greg gave it to me at Toledo etc... in storage. Name tags, shirts and cards...that's how I did it , a lot of guys printed off their own and bought shirts. Might be time to get a new logo and shirt done up! |
