Finished this one up some time ago, but just getting around to posting some photos here. Revell 29 Ford "rat rod" pickup cab on Tweedy Pie chassis and AMT 409. Wanted it abbreviated and abbreviated is what it is!

AMT Bantam Blast chassis and running gear, Monogram Slingster chopped Bantam coupe body. Body has had wheel wells filled in and the rear, stock openings opened back up, mostly out of box AMT Bantam Blast chassis except RD Unique front coilover springs and shocks, dropped front axle from Parts Box (Australia), engine induction also from The Parts Box, rear slicks from Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland. Tamiya Mica Red on body with Tamiya Italian Red on the frame etc.

Here is a Jimmy Flintstone 53 Studebaker sedan delivery that I just finished up. Paint crackled terribly but I decided to push on regardless. No engine, though I did build the two engines that came with the AMT base kit for independent display...that and other build details can be seen HERE.

Came out pretty nice aside from the paint problems and the somewhat thick cast body, and there is a fully detailed go kart in the back there if you could look in the windows. I forget where I got the wheels, I believe that USCP place in the Ukraine which is hopefully still there.

Tamiya Nissan Nismo GTR R34 just finished up. Basically out of box with bits from Studio 27 Photo Etch upgrade.












Spoiler looks kind of dumb from this angle, might take it off and cut down the supports to get it to sit lower and closer to the deck.

And you gotta love those ejector pin marks on the bracket "where you will never see them".

Monogram's 1/24 scale kit of Darryl Starbird's Futurista, the VW powered show car of the sixties, done in prototypically (more) correct pearl white and a Tamiya VW engine souped up a bit substituted for the VWish blob that came with the kit. Lowered about a scale 4" front and rear. Lots of seams unfortunately, could be built much better with a better plan and more patience, but came out pretty good. The front bubble does come up, but I glued the doors in place to minimize the panel line gaps and alignment problems. Don't know why I wanted to build this oddity, but glad I did and it looks pretty good amongst my other sixties showrods.

Here is a supposed 1937 Indian custom motorcycle, 3D printed resin kit, probably sourced from the popular Hallmark motorcycle Christmas tree ornaments. Very simple kit but went together reasonably well, I lowered the seat, wired the brake and clutch levers and did some other little upgrades. Used the large headlamps from the Revell 29 Model A kit for the headlight and raked the front fork a bit. Tamiya Bright Red if I recall correctly.
