Well, I soaked and scrubbed for ten days. This is how it looks, now: A lot less paint paint than I started with, but still some on it: The silver left long before the gold did! The Super Clean turned out to do the best job, of the four products I tried. That's why I use diluted acetone to strip paint. In 10 min. I would have been done.

I never considered acetone. I thought it would eat the styrene. I know it will damage some plastics. I may hafta do some experimenting.

This looks sweet Bucky!! I have always wanted to see a build of this car ever since I discovered that it even existed!!! But finding a 67 Cougar kit first of all, as you likely know, is not all that easy for one! Great stuff Bucky, can't wait to see more! Do you have this build on TRaK also? I was just there looking at your '49 Merc custom build, then I popped over here, and there you are again!!

Thanks, David! Yes, I have it on TRaK. It's a build that is right near the cut-off, but I'm trying to keep it TraKable!!! HAHAHA!

WOW! Nice job. Looks like it popped out of a mold that way. Great idea.
