man that Orange Crate is beautiful! one day I have to make a real effort to build that kit and do it justice. De-seaming the chassis is the first stumbling point, along with all the flash on the reissues.
And Mike Curb, anyone else remember him? Bubble gum music producer and promotor if I recall correctly, along with some more serious music as well, pure commercial. The term "well scrubbed" comes to mind. Led the anti-"drug" campaign in music at one time until I think his own artists told him to shut up, or something like that. He was also Lt Gov of California at one time, under Jerry Brown. If it is indeed the same Mike Curb. He was involved in motor sports so it well may have been.
Interesting stuff. I haven't been using my camera much lately, should probably dust it off and contribute some more here.

Well it was Tuesday in back of Locke, and it looks like Prince Harry is in town. Or maybe its Harry Styles, who knows. But theres a pretty new fastback Rolls Royce parked right back there in the plebian cement lot, mixing with the unwashed masses. Note the PT Cruiser in the background, this one is slumming for sure! Lets look at some details, how about those suicide doors? Maybe they swing up and away? I wasn't around to see one actually open. I wonder how much a replacement headlamp costs? (If you have to ask then you cannot afford it.) Complete with RR insignia etched into the lens. Note the "Rolls Royce" on the brake calipers and the HUGE brake disks. And I think the famous RR Lady pops up from under this cover once the car is activated ("started" undoubtedly being far too common a word to use). I would guess this is an anti-tampering, anti-vandalism feature. Don't you just hate it when the natives get all restless and start demanding souvenirs? jb

Not sure if it's a F16 or Tomcat? But can you imagine putting your foot into that puppy, wooha - need a diaper? That's a Mcdonnell Douglas F 15C Eagle from the 33TFS from Eglin AFB circa 1990's.
