I like how the mirror appears to have been removed with a can opener. A big can opener

Interesting additions JB. What's the corrugated van vehicle. French?

yep that would be a citroen utility van someone had on a 500 mile rally I was on. I had the VW 181 there. Going over Kingsbury pass going into lake Tahoe, I was followed by a guy in a Ferrari 250 GTO I believe it was. When we got to a rest stop he came over and told me he thought I had the koolest vehicle in the whole place. The guy with the Ferrari said that. I do have to admit it was firing on all cylinders up there at 7000 feet.
those pics in the shop are of an AC Ace (pre Cobra) being straightened out after thirty years in the back of a garage, and a pre-A Porsche 356 coupe. Note the peaked roof. That's about a million bucks sitting there. Also take a look at the pic of the shop area and look closely and you might see some interesting stuff. This was my friend from high school days Tom Boutos, who unfortunately passed away shortly after those pics were taken. He always had world class cars around his shop. I miss him and his friendship a lot. I guess it happens when you get older.

OK thanks for the explanation there. Sounds like your rally was an real adventure. Cool VW, those "Things" have an almost cult like following don't they? What's thge story with the peaked roof on the 356. Is it a early production one?

Love that Nash brochure, those are very cool cars. Unfortunately they're seen too rarely in traffic or car shows especially in my country... But I haven't seen many of them during our USA trips either.
