I got this at HL today. It was the only one I found marked down. Hopefully, they were just starting and I'll go back and look for more tomorrow.
This is my "Nightmare Car" that I mentioned a few months ago. In my nightmare (when I was a kid,) it was flat black with either black or really dark tint. I do know that it was powerful enough to skid to a stop, and smoke the tires coming after me, so I will build up the engine. It will be my first attempt at "weathering" a car. Should be fun!

Hobby Lobby. Not on sale, but 40% off. I'll probably go stock, but using the lowering blocks it came with.

Picked this up at Ollie's today for a tenner... I just drove past Ollie's this morning and thought about stopping . . . wish I had now ! I picked up this Cougar a while back along with another with a bunch of parts . This will be on my bench soon ! Been searching for one of these forever with no luck so I settled on just the box . I've got the resin kit on order from Motor City Resin !

Nice haul on that Cougar Bob, looking forward to your build up of it. A '69 Torino formal roof is definitely a grail of mine too!

Last week I bid on and won a JoHan Dragon Lady AMX build up. Just got it yesterday and man this is nice. Really got it for a good price too, watching just listed "buy it now" listings. I was told it was built back in the 70s and gives every indication of it. Really well done. Steering wheel fell off in transit as did some piece of wiring from the engine compartment, but the chassis and body separate easily so I might be able to get down to reinstall the steering wheel at least. Came with a display case too, all very securely packed. Also picked up an AMT 62 Chevy II hardtop buildup that is pristine with the 6 cyl and all stock. And just the other day, a lot of 6 vintage buildups, including one of those AMT 32 with the Edsel nose (kitted with the Willys coupe) though this one doesn't have the nose piece, a really nice looking maybe Buick 60s Kustom, a very nicely done AMT 63 Corvette split window coupe with what looks like AMT Lacquer candy green paint job, a 60s Formula 1 car in nice shape, and two Mustangs, one 1/32 scale. Will probably parts out the 'Stangs but the rest looks totally displayable. Been a busy week at the ebay build ups. jb

Picked these up earlier in the week in a trade with a member of another board.
The AMT '66 Barracuda is in nearly pristine condition, with a good portion of parts off of the trees, but everything is there and accounted for.
The Revell 1962 Dodge Lancer contained the body parts, chrome and glass but was missing the interior and chassis.
The body was covered in thick coats of yellow and silver, but after a few days in the pond, it's looking pretty good.
I have since picked up a full interior for the Lancer as well.

I got this on eBay yesterday. Oddly, Corvettes don't seem to fetch that much. I got it for 11 bucks shipped. Body and a few parts are in the brake fluid tank. I'm not a big 'Vette fan, but my cousin had a 67 blue roadster, then bought a gold 68 when they came out. I did like riding in them, though. These are from HL.
