All cool stuff! The "surprise" Mercury cyclone made me laugh! It'd be good for anything, from NASCAR, to a custom, OR, as I started but never finished back in the day, a Mercury ranchero!

I made a very fortuitous trade for this AMT 1965 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 with a kind gentleman on another forum.
A very rare find that looks like a fun project.
Parts are already in the pond!

To convert to a sand rail, greatly discounted, for me the only way to buy.

I needed some different decals for my Mercedes Benz GT3 build so bought... we had some Christmas gift cards for INTU, a multiple shopping mall owner, pushed into administration this afternoon, so needed to spend them. One of the shops at INTU Milton Keynes is LEGO so..........

Steve I had a real one back in 1978. I think it had a 425 in it. Mine was white.

A few days ago I won an OG Monogram Sizzler build up in somewhat worse for wear condition. But it had thread for spark plug wires so I was instantly in love. Was kind of broken up when I bought it, front axle was snapped in two places, one front tire was off the axle, both rear wheels were broken off their axle, engine was out of car and missing a couple exhaust pipes, and some other similar damage, plus the normal 50 years of dust inside and out. But the body was nice, the chassis well constructed, and after a couple hours, pretty much everything was back together, including making the coupe body (complete with vintage candy AMT paint runs and pulling toward body lines) fit on the chassis better and some other little improvements. Now its ready for life in a display case. I am seriously contemplating building an identical version from the Slingster model, only of course it would be as small as the original was large. jb

A couple of months ago I picked up this '62 Buick Special Wagon , I have a set of stock wheels/tires so I figured it would be an easy restoration . After I received it the worn paint was worse than I thought so I've decided to do a repaint . Also I'm leaving the mags on it and building some sort of a "Surf Wagon" out of it . Should be a nice QUICK build . . . I definitely need one .

You certainly don't see the design and style like that in a modern SUV. Odd car to make a model of, but very nice!

landed yesterday.................. I've opened both boxes.................................... The Taxi is detailed, with the passenger side door open or closed, I think mine will be open. The Nascar, suitably detailed, the decals are amazing in 'Brand New' condition so looking forward to laying those up, and the body colour is supposedly Purple so new rattle can landing today to cover that. I'm also going to try................................ As most NASCAR kits ride high at the front.
