Picked this up the other day at a dollar store.... Found that it works great for gluing in glass and lenses etc, the bond is much stronger that standard white glue and other "clear parts cement".
Any hint on what "dollar store?" Lol. Would that be in the craft aisle? I never heard of it.

Sure, I got that at my local "Dollar Tree" "Everything's a Dollar" store. Yes it was in the craft isle (such as it is) on the bottom shelf.

I had a friend that had a 72 MKIV. He asked me to move it one time, I think the hoods on those things were a mile long.
I'm curious as to what chassis you are going to mate it to.

Very cool Bob! I worked at a Lincoln/Merc dealership in that time period and drove those all over the place..fresh of the transporter. What a great ride they were. I'd like to have a clean 1:1 today. I wonder if this could be a good donor kit for it?

I wonder if this could be a good donor kit for it? We had one at a body shop I worked at and it was a great driver , rode smooth as silk while looking out over a hood that went on forever . Never thought of using that T-Bird , the simpler chassis might be the way to go . It'll be a curbside so that could make the whole thing much easier to build , and that kit is readily available .

a couple of deals from ebay and local UK online kit store........ and But I'm looking for....... PS. Thought I'd done well with 'The Wild Ones'! it was advertised as used and it really was, various parts missing or broken. The figure was broken into 6 pieces! The chassis was broken, radiator missing, old spoked wheels stuck on with superglue! Building/fixing now, will show as finished soon.

I wonder if this could be a good donor kit for it? Not sure you'd want to use that. I built this model a few years ago The lower front fascia and I believe the rear fascia are molded into the chassis. I think the chassis is molded with everything (exhaust, suspension, etc.) in place as well.
