I wanted to get you guys warmed up for photos and a report this
weekend haha!
Tomorrow I will go to set up tables and stuff at the convention
center. I am going to take my laptop with me so that I can report
LIVE with some photos! (provided I can get an internet connection
there)
If that doesn't work, I will be sending an email that night with
details and photos :-)
I am pretty excited about the show! I think it's gonna be one of the
biggest Omaha has had in awhile....and I mean at least years. I
advertised the show everywhere...25 forums, all yahoo groups that I
am member of, on our own web site, KC Slammers posted it for us TY!,
SABA posted it for us TY! and it's been in the last three issues of
Model Cars Magazine as the flier (shrunk down). The January issue has
it TWICE!
Now, maybe I am jumping the gun....I just want the show to go
smoothly and I am sure it will. If it's not as big as my mind is
making it out to be, the thing that is most important is that it is a
success! ie. nothing goes wrong and everyone is happy.
I received a "mail in" entry from Ed Brockway all the way from New
York! Yep...if ya were curious, I would have taken your mail-in's. ;-)
Too late for that now....but you can next year!
Anyways...just some thoughts and a notice to watch for photos!
DPMCC has been steadily going up the ladder from a yahoo group to a
real online club that I almost never run into anyone who has not
heard of us...at least from the web site!
Watch for the February Model Cars Mag...our 2008 coverage is in
there! ENJOY!
Remember! Just because the show is in Omaha, doesn't mean that it's
not US.....as in you & I who should be proud!
