Some new shots of an old build.
A curbside version of an old Johan kit.

You do some beautiful work, Steve. Love the detail work you put into them.

Wow, what a looker! Did those wire wheels come inside the Johan kit?

No.
They're aftermarket Modelhaus Kelsey Hayes wires.
Unfortunately, no longer available of course.

What a shame those wire wheels are no longer available. Maybe some enterprising 3D resin printer will pop some out. I saw a seller on Ebay who sells some amazing 3D printed Buick Skylark wire wheels, so I know the technology is there, capable of doing it. If I were younger, I would learn all I could about producing shape files and 3D resin printing. That's the way for a modern day modeler to go.
