I built this earlier this year for a contest on another board, themed "Tom Daniel " and a tribute to our friend Bob "Hot Wheels" Boehm. For some reason I thought it would look cool with the engine moved forward. It is actually dark red. The site is owned by Todd Russell, the trunk lid was a tribute to him and Bob This is actually closer to the dark red. The chassis in the rear is box stock, the ft. one shows my mods. I sanded off the hemi plug holes to make it "closer" to a Chevy The blower and injector are from an original release TD F/C, I recently took them off to cast them. I scratch built ft. and rear wheels then made a mold and casted them. I used three halves of the kit slicks to widen them Kit used: 1/32 Tom Daniel Whiplash Camaro F/C Paint: Raw Plastic Dark Red with decals then spray can Tamiya clear on top Engine: from kit Chassis: modified from kit Tires and wheels: Ft. resin cast, rear rims resin, tires widened kit slicks Extras: I replaced the windshield with blower cut out, with one from a Trans Am donor We miss you Bob Thanks Jim ps: no, I didn't win, LOL, that honor went to Bob "too old" Spedding, with the coolest "Honest Engine" train you ever saw!
