Revell 49 Mercury 1/25 scale

I wanted to say that I built this kit in memory of Doug Van Houten a friend and fellow club member at the New Jersey Model Car Club who passed away last year. I bought this kit from Doug a couple years ago, and finally managed to finish it. The body is painted with Testors Dark Green Pearl enamel and cleared with Testors Wet Look lacquer. Overall, I say this kit fit together very well. The only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that you had to foil the clear windows instead of the main body of car.

Very nice.  The colour works well and gives it a subtle and restrained look.  I like it a lot.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the compliments! I wish I would of taken a little better quality photos, but I wanted to get this post up since it took me so long to finally finish it. Hopefully, I will be able to complete my next build a little faster!
