That 53 Panel looks great. That was one of my first model kits in the 1970's and I still have it. You did a way better job than I did though.

I like that. I built one similar ('54 version) in the late '80s - radiussed wheel arches, blown Olds, beam axle from an F100. Makes me want to build another.

This work is really nice... i have come wondering about the shiny part or dull part on wheels... did you do some kind of weathering work on the wheels.. or is it just plain flat silver paint?
can you tell us more,

The wheels are brush painted silver and then a light coat of Tamiya black panel line. I use this a lot, it make mechanical parts look more three dimensional. You can also see this effect on the front axle.
