I should probably have dropped a hit of acid before starting the Hippie Hemi! I might have enjoyed the build more. Body was warped, and even clipping it together on either end for several months didn't help. These things are just too damned delicate for my taste. I have a Tommy Ivo dragster to build, but that will be the last dragster I mess with. I had to cut off the push bar/parachute mount and move it down about 8 scale inches, or it hit the back of the cockpit.
I love the paint, but that's about it.
I thought the size would have been more comparable to the Cosmic Charger, but as you can see, it's not.

Nice build, despite the limitations of the kit.

Far out man! I sense a color flip in that green, yes? Or a pearl? Great job on it.

Thanks, all! As far as the paint goes, I think it was Duplicolor metallic green, and the frame is Sublime, or whatever Chrysler called it. I tried multiple times to get the two halves to meet in the front, but no matter what I used, it would pop apart. I finally used a Gorilla Glue epoxy. I checked it the other day, and it's still holding, lol.
