Wow that's gonna be sweet.........That's why I stopped coming in here guy's lack of interest. This hobby is dying.Kits aren't being sold like they use to.Just to let you know the people who now own Revell are introducing a Tom Daniel line featuring some of his old designs in 2009.I have the e-mail from Tom himself stating just that.

Sorry you feel that way, Buffy. This hasn't even been on the board 24 hours. attendance is down a bit, but cut some slack. Nobodys stationed at their computer just waiting for you to post.
I, personally find it hard to comment on what is basically a sprayed body. Take it out of the box and hose it, WOW !!!!!!!
Cranky old guy

I realize that Geezerman35.I'm talking over the last little while.I have seen posts go on and sit for a week with no replies.I love the hobby and to sit back and watch it die just kills me.A lot of it has to do with the resin garbage everyone is playing with now or we might see some reissues. How can you reissue when someone is putting it out in resin> I myself despise resin to bulky ,trim this trim that more work than a plastic kit.At least you can cut plastic without it smashing to pieces.Sorry man but resin ruins the whole senario for modelling.

That wasn't my point......It's obvious that you missed it.My point was that the hobby was slowly dying. If you look at the stats this hobby has been on a decline ever since the introduction of resin which myself I think is a garbage product. So much clean up and fitting and the weight is doubled. You need a steel suspension just to hold up a body.Worst material ever to come into the hobby industry.Makes it hard for younger kids to do also because of the 2 part epoxy which no parent will let they're kid use unless he is present. So basically it's when I get time son you can build and to me that's a pile of horse MEARDA!.Get rid of resin and bring the true hobby back not the wanna be.

A little dead............My god if it was any deader we would need a coroner. This hobby needs a kick and if we as veteran builders don't give it that boost than the future of the hobby looks bleek.I myself hear this all the time from different sites and even friends who are die hard builders. It's to bad because I grew up loving this hobby. So Sad.

WOW....Resin is killing the hobby?? And all this time I thought it was video games and computers. Just the other day I was in the hobby store and heard some 10 year old say " Gosh I sure would like to build a cool model car , but resin sure is hard, and my daddy won't let me play with epoxy." NOT!!! A lot of kids are not intersted because they want instant gratification, they are too busy with the latest games or they hsve no idea that a 49 Merc is cool. It has nothing to do with resin. As far as resin goes, sheesh, I have boughgt resin that has fit better than plastic. If any thing resin has saved this hobby. Many of us don't have the time to spend scratch building what is available in resin or the skill. This hobby may have slowed down a little but many hobbies have slowed due to the economy. I personally think that modeling is in its "hey day " because of all the aftermarket stuff available. I may not post much on the internet, but that does not mean I don't read the posts, and it sure does not mean the hobby is on its death bed. If you don't like resin don't use it, but it aint nuttin to fear.
My 2 cents.
BTW the 57 looks good.
