Project X is one of the most famous 57 Chevys ever. Back in 1965 Hot Rodding Magazine bought the car for $250. Through the years the car was modified many times. In Nov. 2021 the big block was pulled out and replaced with an electric motor. I can't believe they would do that to Project X after all those years. What a waste of a great car. Here's a model of the car that I just finished up. I built it as close as I could with the parts that I had. Hope you guys like it. Thanks for look'in!

I've followed Project X for years myself. I hadn't heard they put an electric motor in it. Pure blasphemy! Your model is beautiful.

Project X was the cool mule for Petersen Publishing during it's tenure of ownership. So many projects all on one platform! The ONE car that captured my feverishly fertile and frantic attention beside "Project X", was "Flashback 57'. I always thought they would be a cool duo.

Nice Job, Mike
You built the best version, how it looked in "Hollywood Knights"

That's one beautiful '57 , great job recreating the original Project X ! I read an article praising the installation of an electric motor in the car . . . hard to believe .
