This is the 4th paint job attempt, and I STILL got it wrong. I may just leave it. I can only make it worse, lol.

I'm still fighting this paint job. After stripping it, I primed the whole car, shot the white, and masked it off for the red. I WAS using Duplicolor paints. After masking the white and spraying the red, the white peeled off in areas. I masked that off to respray, and the red peeled off in areas. So, back in the tank it went yet again. What's funny is that when I pulled it out to check on the progress, the paint would be completely off on the doors and quarters, but not on the fenders. As if I was using two different types of paint, and I intentionally masked it off at the body lines.

I'm going to try Krylon for plastic and see if I have any better luck. No primer this time either.

I would have either a) put it in a box for sometime in the (distant) future, or b) sprayed it a single color. You've much more fortitude than I have. Still rooting for you.

5th time is the charm, I guess. I made decals and had to piece meal them together. Not perfect, but I need to move on. I still have to put the side scoops on and then see where those need to be blacked out.
