Thought I would share some 1:1 pictures. There's a beach on the south coast of Wales called Pendine Sands. I'm pretty certain that the Land Speed Record was set there back in the 1920's. Last month I went there for the Vintage Drags.

Wow some kool cars over there! And drag racing on the sand, thats pretty neat! So, standing starts, or running starts? How is the off the line traction in that sand? Some big rooster tails?

No public address system so not sure. Great event for photography though.

jbwelda: well speaking for myself there are a number of reasons I haven't been participating lately, the most likely one is that I generally do not build much during the summer months. Too many other things to occupy my time. Jul 10, 2024 11:36:30 GMT -5
