Tnx. for the tutorial Paul!Actually thats the way I use to do with missing/bad driprails. And for the wraping of sandpaper around a pencil is very useful. Depending of surface I use different diameters of round stuff. For example the fins of these two birds needs attention specially at body top from vent to trunk and the shape just between door & frontfender. The 63 and 64 Galaxies suffer from same issues.. I also use sandpaper around a tube 22-29mm for shape wheelopenings.. Here is a driprail mounted in steps.. amt '77Ford Pu

The last two photos with the full width chrome bar is wicked cool. The red on each side of the plate, not so much, seems redundant. Maybe screen or a pair of rectangular exhaust ports instead? Paul

Paul Thanks Paul!I do agree. The fullwith is my favorite to, and I think the red ones below is more of a 80's style. I'll check my stock for exhaustports or make some, as I have had my mind with 4 in the middle.. but the recess goes all the way. In the "original" kustom panel it where a bumper where I have the chromebar/lights. I have also tried with a thin chromebar in the recess, but did not like it. I have bought a green-turquoise and a blue-turquoise for my birds. Right now I'm leaning to blue on the convert. I'm back at work after surgery ( still on antibiotics) so I'm a bit tired on my sparetime..

Plastruct make excellent rectangular tub that is perfect 1/25 scale is a bunch of sizes. How about a longish clear back up light in the panel with the exhaust? The Blue Turquoise will look great with a Silver-Grey or a light Blue IMO. Paul

I like both of them. I like the red panel in the bottom as well.

Best looking 36 Ford ever. Don't know what's been done to it other than the running boards gone, but it looks great. 36 has always been my least favorite looking early Ford that you could buy in kits. With this pic I'm rethinking this.

With this pic I'm rethinking this. It's just the front that have been sectioned about 4 inch. Maybe Z:d in front, but in modelshape I dont need to.. I will show some work later.

Thanks Robert. I thought the front fenders looked higher up the body than normal, but I wasn't sure. I spent a little time looking at a stock 36 roadster and it is more complex than just a section. The front fenders are either modified or replaced with something else. I'm excited to see what you have done.
