What is the plan for the rear of the car? The body was all a French blue (at least on my screen), but now there seems to be some dark blue and red? Oh yeah, great work so far.

Paint looks great . . . and interesting . I'm sure the fade will look great when you're finished !

Spent ages trying to get this decal to settle down, in the end I decided to remove it, and the reason it wouldn't settle down became apparent, never seen that happen before and no idea why.

I've had the same problem with long stripe decals like that and as you have done, remove, mask up and paint instead. I must say though I do like the paintwork and colours on the rear end!

Hi all more work on the Cobra. I decided to ditch the carbs (too much wrong with them ) The kit comes with fuel injection as an option I thought I would go with that, tbh a don't know which is worse, still I'm stuck with it now, hopefully I can improve on what the kit supplied (still won't be anything like accurate but maybe look interesting.

I would say your decal solvent/setting fluid attacked the paint. What kind of paint is that, maybe I missed it? Anyway, nice save, the stripes look way better than decals now.
Why did you ditch the carbs? That fuel injection doesn't look to great itself but maybe when its done it will be hidden under an air cleaner? If you are up to upgrade it once again, I would look for some appropriate Weber carbs with velocity stacks.

Looks really good. Pretty sure what you were calling fuel injection are supposed to be Weber carbs.
