When my kids had a clear out of their childhood toys, a few years back, I rescued a plastic tractor and tanker trailer set.  I used the tractor front wheels along with trailer wheels on a 4X4 Mk 2 Jaguar and kept hold of the tank.  I took a long time to find a suitable chassis to mount the tank on but once I offered it up to the Beer Wagon I knew I was onto a winner.  The Chassis has been extended slightly but the rest of the truck is pretty much box stock. The tank is sprayed in grey primer which has been slightly weathered on the lower section while the upper surface is polished.  The Tabasco decal is from Slixx.  The Centreline wheels and rear tyres are from a long lost funny car.  Hope you like...

That is pretty cool looking Spike!! The scale of the tank looks just  right too.

 I took the bed off the beer wagon and put it on a 40 Willy's truck.

That works really well.  I expect my remaining barrels and flat bed will sit in the bits-box until inspiration strikes.  Thanks for your comments.

Excellent , that tank looks like it was made for the Beer Wagon chassis ! Maybe one of the coolest conversions I've seen !
