Exquisite execution taking full advantage of what Revell gave you. I always wondered about the decals in this kit since they are so critical to the total effect. What were the challenges you encountered? You certainly conquered them. The dashboard is masterful, a great scale interpretation of the 1:1. The detail photos of it in the TRJ feature on the restoration shows what a genius Ed Roth must have been - I wonder how the restoration was done, it is so detailed. What a hipster the man must have been!

Thats really beautiful and I always dug that decal on the tonneau cover. Seems to me its a scene inside the insane asylum ala One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. Beautiful paint too, I am currently trying to figure out how to do a white pearl job on a Futurista, and I think Tamiya will be it. Doesn't look like the Testors clear yellowed either.

Bernard- I normally decal a model in one night, but this one took me four nights. The model has a lot of curves to deal with so it makes
it more difficult to get the decal to lay down right with out any wrinkles and air bubbles. It a good thing I had an extra set of decals because
the hood gave me a little bit of a problem.
JB- Tamiya is awesome, I use it in my airbrush for all my builds. On this build I airbrushed pure white first then pearl white on top of that.
The clear coat that I use is wet look, I never have a problem with it yellowing.
