My first post. Fiat Topolino Gasser

Here's the Fiat altered I finished a couple of months ago.  It's from the AMT Double Dragster kit. It has a resin McGee quad cam engine. I filled the roof and recessed the firewall. Rear tires, wheels, tach and pedals from a Revell pro sportsman kit.

thats sweet. Where did you get that engine? What is it exactly? Don't think I have ever seen one of those. Looks impressive up there.

I like your mods and particularly your choice of engine! Excellent!
Great to see the McGee in something other than a dragster. I have one and can't decide what to use it in. A shame the maker died and no one took up his molds. paul

Thanks guys. I bought the engine at Keiths Hobbies in Toronto about 30 years ago. The engine is a 2 plug per cylinder V8. It's from an Australian venture into American drag racing. They ran it in a dragster for 2 years I think before it was banned.

Thanks Dave. The paint is Model Master Plum Crazy enamel and those are great kits for sure.

I've seen several examples of this kit painted purple (including mine.) It appears to suit the vehicle. Nice job!
