I've been looking for a 56 Chevy to round out my shoe boxes, but they're really hard to find (at the price I'll pay. )
Nice job on yours!

I bought this one at a garage sale for $5.00. Some guy bought around 10 or 12 car kits they had but not this one. It took Simple Green and 5 weeks to get the cigarette smell and stains gone so it could be built. It got to the American Cancer stores,Salvation Army store and Goodwill stores. If the staff knows you'll will buy the kits, they'll keep them aside for you. I get quite a few AMT, MPC, Revell-ronogram and even a Tamiya kit.Generally only $2 to $4 each. Built up's average 75 cents to $2.00. Goodwill sells me parts boxes for 50cents a pound. My wife said I'm cheap, I say I'm frugal. Paul
