I wanted to get this build looking close to the 1:1 show truck as possible. I was checking out some pictures on line an decided that Alclad candy golden yellow was the way to go. I also fabed up a tonneau cover with a balsa wood insert in the center just like the 1:1 truck. The engine in the kit only had one carb so I had to fab a manifold for two carbs. It was a fun build for me!! I remember going to a car show back in the late 60's an seeing this truck, it was the wildest truck I ever seen!!!
