I built this about 25 years ago as what I called it at the time, a "SnowBird." Time to take it apart and do it right. Probably not as a SnowBird, though. I may do it in one of the various colors I've seen them, or go something completely out of the box, not sure.
I'm finishing up a 67 Olds 442 build, so as soon as that's on the shelf, I'll start on this.
I'm not sure of the scale. I can't remember. I think it's 1/48th. The cars don't have any scale markings on them either, but I think they're about 1/43rd. The green Mustang plays "Free Ride" when you push down on it. Not sure why they picked that as it's not in the same era as the car (1968.)

Awesome! The Blackbird was quite a feat of advanced technology. I saw one take off once, an amazing sight. Watching this one for sure.

That looks like a 1/48 scale offering duece. Can't wait to see the re-do.

The SR-71 had a weapons bay?? I thought it was a "spy plane". I also have a busted up but complete one sitting on a box in my garage. I was in the USAF back in the second half of the 60's and saw one take off in the early morning twilight. It was totally awesome! Now my eyes are on yours! Gary
