Lindberg models ?

Again just getting re started with building car models . Are the Lindberg models of good quality ? Been so long I do not remember about them or if improved over the yeras or good worse . No judgement just wondering . Looking at the 40 Ford coupe for another victim , I mean project  
Still working on the 48 coupe , got the headlights frenched in tail lights same , chopped ( raked ) top frenched rear plate , grill remodeled , peeked the hood . Nearly ready for primer . I will get a pic up when primed .

My opinion: not really. Any good I mean. Thats a pretty broad brush though, there are certainly exceptions, like the 34 Ford pickup that is actually an AMT tool they somehow licensed to Lindberg. And some of those later Mopars were or seem to be pretty nice, well detailed kits. Same with the 60s-ish Chevys. And that 48 coupe, again a mold from another company on loan to Lindberg I think. But a lot of their stuff just kind of doesn't cut it, except maybe on strictly a nostalgia thing. Very simplified, not really accurate and kind of goofy looking. It really is an individual thing, some kits way better than others, and also depends on your own level of expectations. I would say to expect sub-AMT looks and fit and you will not be disappointed. I would also say if you see something that interests you by Lindberg, for a price you think looks right, go ahead and buy it. The 34 Ford pickup especially is worth looking for if you don't already have too many copies of it. A lot of great accessories in there.

I have those two older Fords by Lindberg. I'm working on a 67 Olds 442 right now. Rather, I've been dragging my feet on the 442 right now. I have found the parts fit together well and are very well detailed. This particular kit comes with chrome side trim and rear window molding.  Separate windshield wipers and hood hinges (Yea!)  The kit can only be built one way, or at least they only give you parts for a stock build.
