Mickey Thompson was an innovator like his Ford and Pontiac Hemi heads and his 2 speed transaxle for his Pinto AA/FC cars.. The Ford heads were for the FE engines, interesting as he used multi piece pushrods to make slight turns. Interesting read if you can find the article. The one in the T Bolt actually won the Nat in 1963 in his Light weight 1963 1/2 Galaxie. The conversion to make the Revell T bolt into Micky's Hemi car was to say the least a bit interesting separating what was run in 1964 and what was on the restored car. I took pic today after cleaning the case. It was built in 2013. Paul
