Beauty and that top fits and looks good too.
So theres a bunch of fit issues, with the Blue Beetle? Its been a long time since I built one so I don't recall.
Looks like ultimately it went together well though.
Oh and engine looks particularly clean too, very sharp looking.

I know that sounds "out there" but that's the only way to describe the fit issues I had with this one and I have no idea how that could have happened. You might notice it in the wheel base as the wheels aren't quite centered in the fenders. I built one of these years ago and don't recall such anomalies with it.

Yeah now that you mention it, I can see the rear is sitting a little forward of where one might wish it to be. Funny about that shrinking thing, could it be at some point in its history they had to retool the molds? Maybe the original Blue Beetle is off too, I don't really recall, and I wonder how the modern reissue of it dimensionally.
At any rate, like I said, ultimately you pulled it off, looks awesome!
