HW Dually

I have several of these Hot Wheels Dually castings, but this one really needed new wheels.



I got this wheel set from Greenlight




I decided on this set

I got these small scale decals from ebay
The one on the left are the decals, the one on the right, is a photo copy


The decals are printed on a clear backing,  so you have to put down  a white layer first.
I picked out the one I wanted to use, then cut the copy out slightly bigger than the decal as a template.
Then used the template and traced it on to some white stripe decal.


After cutting out the white background, applied it to the back window. 
It's a little out of proportion and will get trimmed up after applying the decal over it.


Top decal applied and still needed some more trimming.
These decals are very tiny and not printed real clear. But the general idea is there.

I know I have that dually, but mine have different wheels on it, I think. I have those same (old) wheels on a Dodge pickup. Probably from the mid to late 90s. The new wheels really make a difference on that.

Nice work on the dually, those wheels really make a difference in the overall look. I need to get some of those GreenLight wheel sets.

I got those wheels on ebay for about $9.00 total
you get four complete sets, that's only about $2.50 per conversion.
Soon I'm gonna post a couple more trucks I used them on.
