Search features and I don't get along very well. I can seldom get them to find what I'm looking for.
There was (is?) a member here that sells scale wheels, but I can't find the thread. Are you still here? Prices seemed real reasonable compared to Pegasus wheels.
I'm trying to make my own and I've ordered a can of Spaztik to complete the job. With my luck though, I don't think they'll turn out like what I'm looking for.

Thanks! I'm looking for chrome reverse with baby moons. His are cast in white, so that would take me back to where I currently am with hoping the Spaztik will work. I'll post up what they look like when I complete them.
This build has been trying, to say the least. I have 2 57 Ford Fairlane 500 models my cousin gave me. I want to build one like he had and give it to him. Solid black with black and red interior. The first paint job came out really bad, so I soaked it in brake fluid and tried again. Ugly paint job again, and I was starting to lose detail, so after the brake fluid treatment again, I got the body from the other kit. The black came out nice, but when clearing it (with 2K clear,) it shifted and thinking it was going to hit the ground, I reached for it, putting "valley" like grooves in the roof, but not into the black. I thought I had enough clear on there to sand it down smooth, but I sanded through the clear coat in a small spot. I had to repaint the roof, but I won't be able to clear it with what I had.

FWIW several later issues of the AMT '49 Merc have a nice set of chrome reversed with moons. Here's the one I have...

I'll have to keep an eye out for that kit. My Spaztik came in today, so I'll give that a try...
