G'day there...a couple of months ago, the wife was looking around an "Op Shop" and came across a model airplane kit which she took a fancy to and bought it for $2AU.
The kit wasn't the greatest of quality and the decals were missing, but hey for two bucks, who's complaining. Knowing that I only built car models, She asked me if I would build it for her so I did. I cut the flap sections away and cemented them in the down position and printed of my own decals to suit.
I guess it didn't turn out too bad?.. What do you reckon?
Cheers F' Now.... "Jezza"

Pilot was in Left cockpit, Co-pilot /Navigator in the right. Should the Pilot sustain injuries or be killed the Co-Pilot could take full control of the plane. Cheers...."Jezza"

Alright Jeezer, You got me,I saw the title of the thread and was expecting a four wheel Mustang. But nice surprise. My collection of airplanes leans towards the civilian aircraft more than warbirds, but a nicely built model of any kind always attracts me, no matter whose side they fought for, haha. I also favor 1/72 aircraft, I bet this is a fun one to see in real. I had to google the $ exchange rate, wow! Smokin deal.
You should take another picture of it next to a full size 1/25 scale car to compare the scaling.
Nice Job Mate!

Yeh a bit out of the ordinary (model wise & me building it!), but at the end of the day I love putting things together. My wife loves what I build and this plane for some strange reason will always be special because she bought it and got me to build it. Cheers ... "Jezza"
