Hi all, hope ya'll are well, safe and building models. Been working on this old Ford. Here's the ebay artifact I'm starting with. After careful disassembly and stripping the old Testors PLA Most of the chrome was sanded off soooo.....mild custom. I picked out a few details on the chassis. Having a lot of fun and learning a lot on this one. Love vintage styrene...build on!

Glad to see someone else relying on rattle cans for their paint jobs. I have about 3 or 4 air brushes, plenty of paints, and a nice little compressor, but I just haven't gotten the nerve up to get it going. I'm not sure what I'm afraid of. I've done air brushing in the past with great results. Mainly on war planes. Right now, I'm more comfortable using cans. I can't wait to see what it looks like with clear.

Well I hit with Tamiya clear and it crazed the steel color on the hood badly even though my test spoon did ok. No problem as I wasn't really happy with that paint job anyway sooooo..... After a night of swimming with oven cleaner in a freezer bag it's back to square one. I did manage to make shift and turn signal levers out of ball pins.

Ok well I got my home made shift and signal levers installed and did some detail on the wheel and dash.

Nice, despite having to dunk the body. That dash board looks really good, espcially the speedo graphics.
