This one didn't really turn out how I envisioned, and even then I kept it under wraps because I was unsure how it would evolve. I originally was going to build a wild Bosozoku wagon from this Aoshima "Hippo Sleek" kit, which is a body kit variation on the Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon, GT/B spec, JDM station wagon. But as things went along, I kind of lost my nerve for goofy looking trends even though they are what define the genre. Also the paint scheme didn't really work out as I thought, or didn't think actually, and I considered just stripping it and starting over more than once. But really it was my overall disinterest in the whole thing after a while that kept me from doing that, and just keep plugging along to get it off my bench. Consequently it ended up looking way more mainstream than what I had originally envisioned: scraping on the ground, wheels "stanced" way out there, I had some little wide weenie tires and wheels especially for this but they ended up not really working out and I think I will save them for an MX-5 project I have lined up. But the ride height ended up pretty normal, not at all scraping the ground as I had intended...that would have entailed cutting away massive parts of the suspension and/or slicing tops of tires and other nasty stuff, so again couldn't bring myself to do such desecration. Anyway, it does retain the wild ass exhaust pipe (two actually) which are resin pieces and totally kool fish tail style, and of course the less than successful paint scheme, along with the PINK interior (pimp my ride pink) and of course the flamed wheels I finally found a place they didn't stand out too much. And of course its a wagon. So, I don't think I will take up space with a "completed build" thread on this one, just a couple photos here, and I will put it into my gallery with more extensive photos for those of you who want to see more. My gallery. Thanks for looking and any comments, slurs, or general rice throwing gratefully appreciated. Hope I die before I get old!jb

I think it came together well. Nice job, love the wheels and color scheme.

Ah nice jb! Yes it's difficult to decide what to do along the way.
