From the pics it looks like the warp should be taken up when you glue in windscreen (I'd use 5 min epoxy) and secure the body to the chassis pan. Good luck!

Right well this is now going to be buried in the deepest part of my stash, I am more than a little peed off After heroic efforts to sort the warped body (you may think this clamp is over kill but I assure you its not) Great all looked to be ok then I moved to sort the front out you cant get the the wheel arches under the wings (wont go high enough) And look how high the bonnet is That fitted perfectly till I started pushing the body up to get the wheel arches under the wings (imagine how high it would be if I managed to get the wheel arches under the wings) of course now (due to the use of the clamp the body is really stuck in the middel) how this hasn't been hurled across the room I dont know. More than a little peed off.

I have been following you here and elsewhere with this build, and I have to say I am not impressed. I don't mean I am not impressed with you, or your skills, but with this kit in general. From the time you showed us those sink marks, I think I would have just pitched it in, especially considering the general lack of detail in the rest of the kit, and that joke of an engine as it comes from the box. But then to see the body warp, I just had a feeling something wasn't going to work out right in straightening it. Those wheel wells were a tip off, and good save on the hood, but I mean it was (and is) one thing after another. A real shame too with the excellent paint you had going on...will those clamp marks polish out? I salute you on continuing on despite it all, it will probably turn out better than you might think right now, you certainly have made a good attempt with what they give you.
I saw a review on youtube on this kit and the reviewer didn't even mention sink marks or warped bodies or any criticism really. Makes me wonder if maybe he got a pre release of the kit and it was in better shape than what got offered to the public. From what I can see, what you had there was pretty much a nightmare, and you have done very well with it, but still the review ought to be pointing out some of these problem areas.
Hope to see it done here pretty soon, like I said, it will probably look way better than you might be imagining it right now.

Hi all well theres no detail underneath, no brake lines, no shock absorbers, no back panel to the brakes, no calipers on the front after a lot of deliberation (is this kit really worth all this effort) I've decided it is, so here are pics of what the kit supplies. Hopefully I can improve on this. Unfortunately the car i was basing this on is no longer in the workshop but we have a coupe in and our engineers assure me the brakes and suspension are the same so more measures and research (I've bought a vernier for the measurements) I must say I'm very disappointed with this kit even without the moulding problems they really dropped the ball with this kit all the other German produced kits I've done were amazing (I would have put them up with Tamiya) this kit I would say is below Frog standards, which is a shame, I hope this is not a glimps of things to come, considering this is a 2018 new moulding. I will certainly think very carefully before buying another revell kit and I certainly wont be recommending revell kits in the near future.

Hi all I've done what I can to the rear suspension, cant do much with the front as the way they've moulded it I would have to cut it all out and start again (its moulded all on one plane when in fact it is not) also the tie rod is moulded where the front calipers should be, I cant move it to the back as I would have to cut a channel in the back wall for it to run in. On the rear brakes there is no backing plate for the handbrake cable or hydraulic pipes to go. It just so happens a tap washer fits the bill perfectly Drilled the holes for the cables and pipes to go through.
