Is this the new Revell kit?......If so is it as bad as I am hearing from buildrs online? I keep hearing how out of proportion it is but everytime I see pics of a build up they look ok to me. Nice job on yours.

Nice job on yours. Raisin Yes, it's the new Revell kit. It's an excellent kit and NOT out of proportion at all. There are two errors in the kit. The wheel well shapes are a little too flat - they should be slightly rounded more, but when the model is built, most normal humans (whatever THEY are) wouldn't even notice. The second error is the gas tank is molded backwards. Easily fixed by cutting out the gas tank, turning it around and glueing it back in. Again, not many people would notice that. Technically, the kit can NOT be built stock because it comes with an LT1 engine, which was not available in a Nova in '69. Turn it into a "regular" stock 350 by using the valve covers and air cleaner from an AMT Nova. Overall, this is a very well done kit.

Nice job on yours. Raisin I have bought 2 of these nova kits and in my words revell nailed it. I have 1 almost finished as the drag nova and the other kit I have I am going to do it like my mothers 72 nova she bought new. I need help on what color of green that was in 1972, it looked like a spring green I guess? I would like info on this color of green if anyone can help.
