"Tranquility base here.." Very, very well done Bob! That brings back lots of good memories. I watched the landing live in glorious black and white. It was sort of a big regional as well as national pride for us, being on Long Island, home of Grumman where the LEM was built. Seems like everyone's Dad worked there at the time.

Thanks Ron , and it was the same for me . Growing up in the 60's as an Air Force brat we lived at Vandenberg AFB in '62-67 and saw lot's of missile launches ! Moved to Los Angeles in '67 were my Dad was attached to NASA , so the moon landing was a very big deal in my family !

Most excellent!!!! As one who watched the landing on tv, when I finally found a scale model kit, I bought it. It was, I think, a smaller scale one and I never did get to build it. Thanx for your over-the-moon replica. Fine work!
