I used to be fairly active in the Mustang Bullitt club I (sometimes) go to. I made a couple of trophies as I wanted to have a Best of Show awards when we would have our meets. I love to be creative, and since the show was in Texas and we had participants from all over (and Canada) I wanted to make them Texas themed.
At that time, there were only two years of Bullitts (2001 and 2008) Since the Bullitt was a tribute to the green Mustang Steve McQueen drove in BULLITT I used the 67 for the trophies. I couldn't find any 1968 Mustangs to use. I had done something similar in 2007 when there was only one year Bullitt Mustang, but I think those are on my other computer.
I started with 2 of these:
After stripping the paint:
After painting and detailing: I tried finding different wheels for them, but I ran out of time.
The finished product: The round Mustang sign at top rotates!

Wow what a great idea and result. I would be honored to be awarded that at a show!

That is a VERY impressive trophy! Rarely seen such a spectacular trophy, way more so than the typical dust collector. Might even outshine the car it was awarded to!
