Looks pretty good, though those metallic particles are about a scale foot in diameter! They just don't make metallic paints for these small cars!
How do you strip your bodies? I always used a friends bead blasting cabinet but I don't have access to that anymore, he passed away. Will Super Clean touch that original paint?

That's really nice. Trailer hitch and all! I can't leave anything as it was. I'd probably see if I could find some nice wheels/tires for it. Curious...what did you pay for it?

Will Super Clean touch that original paint? jb The metal flake size is just the nature of the beast, I think. To strip mine, I either use aircraft remover or let them soak in a thinner or brake fluid.

Not really something you can do much about, other than to avoid metallics.

Not really something you can do much about, other than to avoid metallics. jb Yeah, it doesn't bug me that much. Anyway I use a chemical paint stripper to strip the bodies and chassis plates. Apply it, let it work then scrub with an old toothbrush in a bath of water and a little soap. I follow up with a going over with a Dremel wire brush then 4 ought steel wool. I haven't tried the purple stuff yet so I don't know about that. Thanks.
