I really like this category. I modify a lot of die-cast. Some I take apart and strip and repaint. Then others I just change the tires and wheels, add some details and detail paint, and try to retain the factory finish. That's what I did with this Nova, and the following Vette. On this Nova, I changed the tires and wheels, Scratch built headers, deep oil pan,and traction bars. Then detail painted the chassis. On this Vette, I changed the tires and wheels, scratch built headers, deep oil pan, traction bars, and detail painted the chassis and parts. Then I added decals to the back window and scoop. Nice work there Jim. I like the scratch built parts you did..especially the yellow(Lakewood?)slapper bars. Perfect touch.

Wow! Those are really good looking Die-Cast cars! I agree with Ron, the scratchbuilt parts definitely put these to another level. And the wheel & tire swap is a big improvement also...Nice work!
