That's a cool looking hot rod! What is that color? I really like it!

Thanks Plowboy, I really appreciate the compliment. As for the color gold, its Tamiya spray but not sure which one since the model was done a while back. It could be either TS21 Gold or TS84 Metallic Gold. If you saw the color in person, it doesn't have a great deal of shine to it. Also, I took my pictures in a small photo booth where the light tends to reflect a bit; which may cause it to look a little different. One other thing, I think the color is similar to the Tamiya silver leaf, which does have a tendency to burnish? or rub off a bit when handled too much.

I've used the TS-21 a couple or three times. In the photos, your model looks like it has a bit of pearl in it on my device . It's especially noticeable on the fenders. I'll have to get me a can of the 84 and try it out. Thanx for the info!

Very clean build up of one of my favorite all time kits. I like the gold on it. Well done!

Good work on one of the oldest AMT kits ever re-re-reisued. A shamethe kit gives nothing behind the rear axle (no chassis, gas tank or anything at all!). That finished one would've looked even more cool with pinstripes. Thanx for a very neat, clean model.

Very nicely done model of a legendary kit. The color looks really good on it, and it fits together very well with the black framerails and red engine block. Really nicely done Model T.

Yeah totally clean build of that chestnut, I remember building it back in like 1962 or whenever it appeared on the scene. Not nearly as well as yours though, of course, I only dreamed of turning out clean models like that. Nice job on getting the engine to look balanced, I find usually that weird blower setup doesn't do it for me but somehow it looks great on yours.

A very excellent build of a favorite kit . All the right stuff . The Chassis is truncated to fit the Roadster Bucket Version . I was unaware this body is defunct . With the Blown 430 Lincoln Mill , this would be a hazard to drive .. Nice and wowser .. Thanx ..

Thanks! If you ever get a urge to build one, I think I may have saw a Jimmy Flinstone or some other company's resin offering the body alone, and then again there is always ebay.
