Hi all. Well I enjoyed the last "simple" build 34 I did when I was away from home base so much that when I got back I pulled this one out of the stash and got started. I started with this issue of the kit. Mine will take a little more than 20 minutes! Loosely inspired by this 1:1 I found in an old rod magazine The body and frame is molded in light blue and the interior black so first order of business was to paint the interior and hit the body with primer I sourced some '36 wide 5's and a '40 steering wheel from my parts box I wanted to fill in the modern slot tail lights so I can use something more trad Result! Time for paint, custom mixed to match the one in the pic. In the cooker drying now. This is fun!

This looks good already! Good to see another one of these built. Good call on the tail light swap, and I really like the color too. This will be a great looking '34 when you're finished.

Here's what I came up for tail lights.....after rummaging around in my parts yard. I wanted something traditional with a touch of deco and kustom...

Nice tail lights,Ron! would you know the kit these came from? Thanks! All I know is that the housings are from the RevelloGram '37 Ford. The other parts were scrounged out of here: I've been collecting this stuff for a long time so your guess is as good as mine!

Cool. I didn't know about the Eldo. Here's the Pontiac I was thinking of, I also found this 75 Road Runner. Looks to have ski gear too.
