Hi guys, thought I'd show you guys my 1:1 hot rod that I built from the ground up. When I first got it it was in pretty bad shape. So I had to strip it down completely and start from the frame up.I did all the welding, fab work, bodywork and paint myself. The only thing I didn't do on the car was the pin striping. The engine is a 350 and the trans is a 350.I been working on it for almost 10 years now and i'm still not finished yet...lol

That is just too cool. You have done beautiful work on that little roadster. They say "the devil's in the details", and it looks like you have all the details covered. Simply gorgeous sir.
One question, is the small tank in front of the grille shell a coolant recovery tank. If so, that is quite a novel application.

Thanks guys!
John- The tank on the front was a vacuum tank at one time.I welded a motor cycle bung and cap on it to make it a coolant recovery tank.

That's a sharp looking Roadster! Would be cool to cruise around with that. The tank in front is a great idea, it looks perfect just like that.
